B.Tech is better than MCA. B.Tech is 4-year technical graduation which is offered just after completion of 10+2. But MCA is 2-year Master's degree which is offered after completion of your 3-year graduation degree in any stream but having one subject as maths.

No. Lateral entry is only for Diploma holder. If you have completed BCA then do MCA.

MCA is postgraduate course whereas B.Tech is UG, B.Tech CSE has more career scope as compare to MCA.
