B.Tech is better than MCA. B.Tech is 4-year technical graduation which is offered just after completion of 10+2. But MCA is 2-year Master's degree which is offered after completion of your 3-year graduation degree in any stream but having one subject as maths.
  • MCA is a Post Graduate (PG) Professional Degree, Whereas BE / B.Tech is just an Under Graduate (UG) Degree. So, MCA Degree Holders usually get MORE Respect and Recognition than a BE / B.Tech. Particularly, MCA with Only B.Sc. (Computer Science) the background is Equivalent to ME (Computer Science and Engineering).

So, in short, job prospects with MCA are better as compared to B.Tech CSE is a 4-year undergraduate course whereas MCA is a three-year post-graduate degree. MCA emphasizes computer application development whereas B.Tech is an engineering-based course with a specialisation in IT. LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. LPU is providing its students the exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships, etc. With Quality of Education, Placements in LPU is also amaz

B.Tech CSE is four years academic course. B.Tech CSE is a study about the Computer Science field, computer programming, and networking. MCA is one of the most popular courses in the computer field. MCA is a two years academic course. MCA is a study of the latest technologies and strategies in the computer field. In my opinion, MCA is better than B.Tech as it is a PG degree course as compared to a B.Tech course. Eligibility criteria for MCA are
    1. Students should have passed Graduation in BCA or equivalent degree under a recognised board.
    2. Students should score a minimum of 50% aggregate score under-recognised board. If you are lookin

MCA is postgraduate course whereas B.Tech is UG, B.Tech CSE has more career scope as compare to MCA. The way technology is growing and impacting our life CSE has a lot of scope and is a better option. There are many good private universities like Geeta University, SRM, VIT offering the course and have world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty. Most of them are offering good placements for their students. Some of them even provide scholarships and study/ education loan assistance to the students.

    Hello, Ajay
You may do with a B.Tech in CSE what you would accomplish with an MCA in the present sector. Fortunately, nowadays people admire skills more than degrees. Instead of investing five years, you may certainly choose to pursue a B.Tech. In CSE and get a fantastic offer in just four. However, if you have already completed a BCA you should think about pursuing an MCA.
