It depends on many factors like one's preferences, career goals, skill sets and also personal liking.
Medical Coding is about deciding standardized codes to medical terms and process. It needs a strong understanding of medical terms, anatomy and also coding rules.

Absolutely Pharmacovigilance because Pharmacovigilance is the best field to study about the available drugs as well as their side effects. Clinical Research has more opportunities than Medical coding. Clinical Research deals with research aspects of new drugs & formulations. It deals with research project designing and research project management as per GCP guidelines. Clinical Research as two components one is Clinical Trials & Pharma

Both are good fields
But if you are from core pharma background, I would suggest you to go for Pharmacovigilance
