If you reside in Madhya Pradesh and getting GSITS, then you don't need to go to the northern extent of the country. NIT - Srinagar has a good rank but is almost similar to GSITS Indore only. Also, GSITS has a very nice curriculum, placements and academics. Also, it would be safer for you.

Hello there, if you want a tag of NIT with you then go for NIT but if this is not your priority then SGSITS Indore is best for B.Tech in IT branch. Although your handwork plays a vital role, college does not matter. Good luck.
