Which one is better: business analysts or data analysts?

Hi Data analysts tend to work more closely with the data itself, while business analysts tend to be more involved in addressing business needs and recommending solutions. Both are highly sought-after roles that are typically well-compensated. Data Scientists have more education and a higher degree of specialisation, and so they typically command a higher salary than Business Analysts. Business analysts have some definite advantages if they decide to become data scientists. Business analysts often have domain expertise and industry knowledge which is extremely useful for data analysis. They are, in their role, familiar with data analysis.

Salaries: The average annual salaries for business analysts are more than Rs. 6 Lacs, whereas they are less than Rs. 5 Lacs per year for data analysts in India.
