It depends on what you're aiming for. Both are different exams with different fields and comparing them would not be fair. Hello, The simplest answer to query is one can appear in CAT to get admissions in Business schools for Managing studies wheras GATE to get admissions in IITs and NITs for M.Tech, PhD, MS, etc. You will be finding many other career opportunities through both the exams. Good luck. Thank you.
