Comparatively, LPU is better. Though, the crowd is more here and can be hectic for few people but is a plus point in some or the other way and moreover in long run .Placements are good in terms of companies visiting and the packages depends upon the students and as an average are 5 lakh per annum. Overall, surely go for LPU over CGC. Best of luck.

CSE is one of the most sought after program these days. India being global hub of software and back office industries, this field has immense job opportunities.
Both CGC landran and LPU are doing a good job within their abilities. CGC landran, being a PTU affiliated college can deliver the curriculum as prescribed by university while LPU being a university itself, has a stellar track record in upgrading its curriculum almost every semester!
You must know the parameters on which to compare. Some are mentioned as follows:
Curricula : The course curricula of any tech degree must be very unique and dynamic. It must be developed with extensive

I think, there is no comparison between as Institute with University (LPU) as both are good in their own parameters, but as per the feedback from Alumni, in present day scenario, LPU is way ahead in terms of Infrastructure of Academics and cultural/sports, as these significant combination is needed for overall development of a student, further as per there feedback, LPU is having a great placement track record.
This university has strong placement record and top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon India, Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd. , Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini India Pvt. Ltd. , Federal Bank, Hindustan univ

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
