Which one is better: Chandigarh University vs Lovely Professional University?

Hi, Selecting an institute is one of the difficult tasks. Out of Chandigarh University and LPU, definitely I gave my vote to LPU because I know how education is imparted and what efforts they are doing for their children. The way they are providing education is commendable. Lovely Professional University is such a place where different students come from across the country and form a unique blend and become LPU students. LPU offers all its students an endless scope of opportunities besides just academics excellence and qualities like perseverance, as you will find relevant events happening around the campus halls for every discipline, and extracurricular activities and sports! Reason why LPU is better:- 1. Lovely Professional University has become a leading and a progressive educational hub in North India. If you have a fine knowledge of the subject, you will surely get placed. The highest package goes from 7 Lacs to 26 Lacs, and the average is up to 5 Lacs. Both are good on their respective grounds but I must say that Lovely Professional University has been known for its consistent growth in Academics for the last 15 years. Dear Sameeksha, I am not aware of Chandigarh University at all. So, being alumni of LPU, I can provide you the details of Lovely Professional University. My higher studies LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes me feel like I'm in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package available for the Engineering programme is 42 lacs. Per annum till now. Though both the universities have excellent academics but let me take LPU as an example to explain. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University I would say Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research, technology, exposures (both national and international), placements, accreditation, Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in. If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon.
