Chemical engineering is one the oldest branches in MIT-Manipal, and has really good facilities considering laboratories and equipments. The faculty is also very knowledgeable and the branch allows specialization is various topics, such as Petroleum, Pollution control etc.

The course which you are interested in will be the best for you, in any college you study. Both the colleges mentioned are good in their respective domains. Placement wise, Manipal is comparatively better.
