    No, any branch is good or bad, it's all about your interest. If you are interested in doing engineering from a specific branch then it holds good for you. Both the branches have their own importance benefits and Fields of Learning. If you want to work upon High voltage and love machines, you can go for electrical. But, if you want to work upon smaller voltage and also can do coding. You can go for electronics. There are tremendous job opportunities in the domain of Electrical Engineering which include positions in government / private sectors in generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power.
