Which one is better for a B.Tech, Kaziranga University - KU or Jorhat Engineering College?

  • AEC any day.

    1. AEC admits students on the basis of CEE examination which has a selection ratio of 2% (420/22000 * 100%). On the other hand I am not sure about the way KU admits students. Definitely it’ll be easier to get into KU.

    2. Here comes the fees. tuition fees per semester in AEC is << 10,000 rupees. On the other hand you pay 50–60k rupees (or more I am not sure) if you study in KU.

    3. AEC has completed its golden jubilee. But KU is a new institution.

    4. You’ll get more opportunities of development in Guwahati.

    5. AEC has got reasonable placements, some PSUs also visit there. Not much idea

    Obviously Jorhat Engineer College. Because JEC is a top government engineering college after Assam Engineering College (AEC) in Assam. I am not saying Kaziranga University is bad, KU is newly form University. But JEC is superior than KU for placement
