Which one is better for agricultural science among LPU and Amity University-Noida in terms of placement and facilities?

LPU and Amity University are not well known to me. But, Chandigarh University is the best choice if you wish to study agricultural sciences. Chandigarh University is placed among the top 30 Universities in India by NIRF 2022 published by the Ministry of Education. The University Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Chandigarh University (CU), in Punjab, strives to adapt agricultural education to the changing and evolving demands of the culture in general and the aspirations of the farming community in particular. The availability of contemporary infrastructure ensures that research initiatives are completed promptly and economically. Farmland, well-equipped labs, and a mechanism for managing operational research are all included in this infrastructure.

Amity University and LPU, both are doing well in the Education Sector. If talk about B.Sc. Agriculture, I will put LPU above Amity University. 1. School of Agriculture, LPU is Accredited with ICAR. No private University has the ICAR Accreditation, so LPU become the first to get the ICAR accreditation. 2. LPU offers the B.Sc. Agriculture with hons. Degree is much more standardized and superior than the general degree. So this is also one of the factor to be considered. 3. Moreover, LPU has well-equipped labs, lecture halls, excellent agriculture farms to conduct the agriculture experiments. 4. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. Hi partha, In my opinion, LPU for B.Sc. In agriculture as one of my nephew graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features: 1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. 2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. 3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. 4. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. 5. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. As a part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. All the Best.

LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Go for LPU! LPU is the first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (government. Of India).
