Which one is better for B.Com: Shri Ram College of Commerce or Hans Raj College and why?

SRCC is the topmost college of North campus. If you are getting that college, then go for it without giving any second thought.

Hi, Both SRCC and Hansraj College are good colleges. But, SRCC is better than Hansraj College due to couple of reasons. Most of the authors of syllabus are from SRCC, they are the faculty there and guide the students well. Students who are shortlisted for SRCC College are highly intelligent for obvious reasons, because the cut off percentage is very high during the time of admissions. This may vary based on reservations, but it is still very high for all students. Cut off for this year B.Com (hons) is 97.5 % for general category students. Sometime, when the students miss the cut off from 0.5 or 1%, then the second best option for them is Hansraj College. You should consider one thing, and that is, there are only two courses offered by SRCC, that is B.Com (Hons.) and Economics (Hons.), and the cut offs are decided for both the courses separately. So, the reasons which you may want to prefer Hansraj College are: 1) Not meeting cut offs. 2) You do not want to take B.Com (Hons.) and Economics (Hons ). Apart from this, both are good colleges with better placements and for further studies. The environment too is very nice in both the college.
