The School of Pharmaceutical Science (LPU) is approved by the Pharmacy council of India. In my opinion definitely LPU is better among others. LPU Ranked among Top 30 Pharmacy colleges in India by NIRF 2019. Various programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences are designed to impart in-depth knowledge to prepare outstanding scientists to meet the health care needs of diverse populations by dissemination of knowledge through discovery, development, and evaluation of drugs and their delivery systems leading to safe and effective drug use. B. Pharmacy students selected for Queen Elizabeth II Golden jubilee scholarship for higher studies in Canada. B.Pharma students secured Gold medal awarded by the President of India (Shri Pranab Mukherjee) and by the Vice President of India (Shri Venkaiah Nadu)
If I talk about placements, many companies visit like Nestle India Limited, Abbott, GlaxoSmithKline, Infollion Research P Ltd, Dnj Infotech, Cactus Communications Pvt Ltd, Ids Infotech, Roots Analysis Private Limited, etc. , by providing the packages ranging from 4 LPA to 7LPA. The programme has the following highlights: -Curriculum: - The curriculum consists of Foundation and core courses. In addition to that, some elective courses like Advanced Instrumentation techniques, Cell & Molecular Biology, Computer-Aided Drug Design, Cosmetic Science, Dietary Supplements and Nutraceuticals, Experimental Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Science, Pharmacovigilance, Remedial Biology, etc. Are also offered in the curriculum. Knowledge Enhancement- Strong emphasis is laid on the theoretical and applied aspects of pharmacy in health care and improvement of human lives. Projects- Capstone project help to develop research aptitude in the field of community health and emerging pharmaceutical industry needs. Workshops- on Regulatory Affairs (DRA), Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Computer Aided Drug Designing, validation and instrumentation help develop research skills in students. Professional Enhancement- In addition to core curricula, the programme offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Industrial Visits- Visits to nearby pharmaceutical industries and research institutions as well as guest lectures from industry personnel are an integral part of the curriculum and develop research aptitude in students. Being an alumni of LPU I believe I can revert your concern more appropriately. I had many friends from discipline of Pharmacy and they are doing really well in their lives right now. LPU is the largest university in India with campus spread in more than 600 acres. Ranked among Top 30 Pharmacy colleges in India by NIRF 2019, Pharmaceutical Sciences Discipline is among the best colleges in Punjab and India that provides its students with practice based teaching in advanced medicine labs making them readily employable pharmacists.
