The placement opportunities are very good at LPU. Talking about CSE, the students have been successful to grab a package as high as Rs 28 LPA. Most international brands regularly visit LPU campus, like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Hitachi, Josh, Xerox, CTS, Capgemini, Verizon, Tech Mahindra, Pega Systems, and others.

  • Hello Anup!
Among the three, VIT Vellore is only the better one. It is known for its education and placements. It is ranked the no.1 private university by NIRF rankings 2017.
You can also opt for SRM Chennai KTR campus).
But, in VIT and SRM, the main campuses only are of high standards.
    The preference order is:
    1) VIT University, Vellore
    2) SRM University, Chennai (KTR campus)
    3) LPU
    All the best!

Institutions never always decide your career by being best. All depends how you are there & your academic & co-curricular activities & experience. Choose one based on it. I mean:
    Study Environment
    Exposure to relevant branch
Rest all depend on your dedicated hard work with smartness & creativity. :)

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
