Dear Sai Santosh, I am not aware of the VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology for the B.Tech in CSE programme but being alumni of LPU I can share the information about the same programme at LPU. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Being an alumni of LPU I had lot of friends in CSE stream so I had an idea about the B.Tech CSE. They are placed in eminent institutions by completing their study from LPU as they found themselves quite fortunate! So I will be sharing certain details of LPU with you. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. I am not quite aware of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology but as per my experience, I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE Main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.Tech from LPU. 1. Still, the best gets converted into the worst when it comes to the application part. Therefore, the only institute that comes to my mind is LPU. Hi, Well, there is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which have recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real-time! LPU's investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified, and talented! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post-doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment and software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent. The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and networks to produce any title anytime! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays an important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for the curriculum to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Attracting 30000 plus students, 200 international universities and more than 650 companies from all over the world to its state of the art multicultural campus year after year after year speak volumes about LPU. LPU is a better choice for engineering. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.
