Punjab University is better for BTech, as it is an old established University and has better placements in terms of LPA than DAV University. Number of recruiters for Punjab University is greater than that of DAV University. Punjab University has been accredited with a 3.68 CGPA on a four-point scale with an 'A+' grade by the NAAC.

Panjab University ranks 25 and 44 under the 'University' and 'Overall' categories, respectively, according to the NIRF Rankings 2023.During Punjab University placement, a placement rate of 98% was witnessed for Punjab University UBS placements 2023
