    Go for ECE. As its a huge industry, there are great employment opportunities in Private National and Multinational companies, PSU etc. Demanded in both India and abroad. You can search jobs in ISRO, DRDO, BEL, PO, SSC IES, IAS IRS, BSNL JTO. ECE gives students an opportunity to make a successful career in the fast growing telecom industry, where students get a decent remuneration at entry level itself, which increases as the student gains experience and expertise.     It depends on the field of engineering you are most interested in. It always comes down to one's personal preference.
    EEE involves real core electrical circuit and heavy machinery work. It involves a lot of theoretical concepts, real hard work and long hours.
    ECE on the other side means you have to deal with circuit mechanisms and transistors and millions of wiring (Trust me on this).
    Placement wise, both the branches are good. But generally speaking (Rule of thumb), ECE tends to get higher and better package than EEE.
    PS: Both are interesting (and demand hard work) branches, choose wisely!
