    Chandigarh University offers an excellent Fashion & Design course and it teaches you everything with practical learning and real industry experience. The department provides many specializations like  Fashion Design & Illustration, Pattern Making & Draping, Surface Ornamentation, Apparel Marketing, Costume Designing.

    There are high-tech labs in the department such as Sewing Machines, Textile Testing Machines, Garment Construction Tools which will help a lot in practical learning.

    Having a career in fashion is highly competitive, every fashion designers must have a keen sense of business. You must know how to work with a team on projects, interact with different levels of management, and be able to work with difficult clients. Future fashion designers need to learn about business to obtain knowledge about the economics surrounding the fashion industry, learn how to market effectively, and to negotiate a contract if they plan to start their own company or clothing line.
