Which one is better for MBA: part time or full time for a bright future?

It depends on what you are doing at the moment. If you are doing a very good job and the one which you like, but you still want to gain knowledge while doing your work then part-time MBA i.e executive MBA can be an option for you. If you love whatever work you do and if you are satisfied then don't leave the job. If you want to study in the meantime and you just want a degree for the sake of the name then its okay to go for part-time MBA. But, once you went through rigorous 2-years of full-time MBA in a good reputed college then your behavior, how you talk, how you think, how you perceive others, all these things change. So it is the holistic and total corporate ready education that you will get in a full-time MBA course. You can develop many skillsets and improve on your weakness without worrying about anything else.

Hello Megh, There is a lot of difference between the full-time programmes of the MBA course and part-time MBA programme. Differences are based on the standard of the education given, the type of jobs offered and the kind of salary paid and most importantly the quality of the student. I would try to highlight some of the major differences here: PART-TIME MBA COURSE: The MBA degree in this mode is generally done by those who are working in the industry for a past number of years and can not afford to lose there job but also want an MBA degree for there growth in the industry. It is also called distance MBA. One doesn't need to attend the classes. Rather they are provided with materials to study at home. FULL-TIME MBA COURSE: A full time or two year MBA is a career in the area of business administration in which one has to appear for daily lectures for complete 2 years. That is why it is known as a regular course. Now, Undoubtedly, full-time MBA course has more value to a degree in the corporate sector. The student gets the chance for overall growth which includes improvement in communication skill, practical knowledge of the subject etc. A part-time MBA or any course is not taken into consideration by recruiters while shortlisting the candidates for the particular designation. However, If you are already employed in higher position and would like to upgrade your position, part-time MBA would support. Make a wise decision. Good Luck!
