Which one is better for PGDM, RIIM (Pune) or MITCON (Pune)?

You can definitely consider RIIM Pune for management studies. RIIM has good placement records till now, in terms of ROI they are doing great job, being educational hub there are many B-schools but if you compare in terms of fees and average packages RIIM is doing great job. They also provide great practical exposure to both MBA and PGDM students, For PGDM the course is well diverse with some unique activities and many more things. Other known colleges like INDIRA, PIBM, ISBM, MITCON also have many placement opportunities but they have huge number of intake so it is difficult for ordinary student to crack interview, in case of RIIM Pune they have limited seats so it maximize the chances of tapping good placement. RIIM Pune have an Expertise panel of faculty members who have vast experience in their respective fields. The faculty members help the students to a great extent. The faculty members guide students in respect of project preparation, presentation, viva, case studies, role plays, problem solving, other areas as well. Also RIIM have a dedicated placement team, they engage students in Placement readiness programme which is very much helpful for students to crack the interviews. If you are looking for budget friendly college with many great opportunities you must consider RIIM, a big thumbs up to this college, also I will suggest you to go and visit personally to get to know the difference.

For PGDM RIIM PUNE is best. RIIM Pune is better option for MBA/PGDM both the courses. For MBA you will get the degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University and PGDM is AICTE Approved. RIIM provides you industrial exposure which is much needed for the students. RIIM Pune Employability programme provides students with the skills and knowledge to successful transition from institute to the work place. Most importantly they want students to try things and learn from the experience. It is a structured programme that recognizes the personal and professional development a student gains from their involvement in activities and beyond academic studies. Various other certifications like SAP, six Sigma, business analytics, foreign languages and different workshops also provided.

According to me RIIM College is Better because it is more than worth to join RIIM. RIIM is the only institute in Pune which is having collaboration with Iims and providing MDP programme for the career growth. RIIM Pune is affiliated with Savitribai Phule University for MBA and AICTE approved for PGDM. As we all know nowadays that companies are giving more importance to PGDM. Reputed companies are recruiting PGDM students more. In PGDM, students are trained with Practical Exposure with the help of Case Analysis, Role Plays, Report Writing, Mini Projects, Placement Readiness Training, Domain specific knowledge sessions and activities. So the PGDM students become more focused in all these area. But at RIIM Pune equivalent weight-age is given to both the courses. Therefore, RIIM has designed its curriculum in such a way that both practical and theoretical aspects are covered. MBA/PGDM+ Employability+MDP is the course where students get the domain knowledge as well as the practical Exposure.

Hi Ayesha, Both colleges are good and have same average package between 3.5-5 LPA. Now it's your own call where you want to go. MITCON giver 4-5 average LPA and many reputed companies visit their to recruit. RIIM has some international placement and other all part of both colleges are same.
