Which one is better for placements: Thapar or LPU ?

<p>As per the website of Thapar university, it has got 282 companies visiting the campus and with 994 offers.</p><p>Compare it to LPU : it attracts more than 300 companies only for its CSE . With 650 companies in total out of which more than 60 offer above 10LPA, 100 are from fortune 500 and more than 100 which come to LPU only other than IITs &amp; Iims ! Moreover LPU places over 6 K students every year which in itself is a great FEAT. So LPU has a higher bandwidth with regards to placements than Thapar.&nbsp;</p>

Hello, Lovely Professional University is always applauded in terms of placements. Recently LPU has been awarded with National Employability Award and Students of LPU are termed as Most Employable Students. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Many LPU students at LPU even hold multiple placement options, I am glad, I am one of those. Campus placement at Lovely Professional University has always been a sought after event for the final year students. Division of Career Services sets up recruitment drives and job fairs on a regular basis. Apart from this, it also extends abundant facilities such as resume writing sessions, career advisory services, and aptitude development workshops to proffer better placement to the students. Industry leading companies, every year, come to Lovely Professional University to participate in recruitment drives. Placements are administered by a team called Division of Career Services. This team aims to help students in obtaining relevant work experience to complement their academic studies and to develop appropriate skills and knowledge to be ready to work in tandem with best minds across industries. Now, when LPU is finishing its 2nd decade, it has got a lot of experience to enhance the excellence. Gradually you definitely LPU has conquered Thappar Institute. Now LPU; 1) has better Admission Intake. 2) has better and dynamic Curriculum. 3) has better teaching pedagogy. 4) has better faculty. 5) and finally better placements. This will help you to make thought.

Hi LPU offers a complete package of quality teaching, intuitive learning aided with hands on practical training. It also offers good scholarship slabs based on various categories. It has also started the covid scholarship to aid education at such grim times. The updated labs and the expertise of the faculty have given good results that today LPU is a name to reckon LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placements. Being a student of Lovely professional University, I can tell you very efficiently that LPU provides more placements opportunities than Thappar. Almost all my seniors are already placed and some of them are even carrying two or more than two job offers. LPU is best.

I think lpu is better option I have seen the results of a couple of placement drives already and they are surely motivating. 2 students from my branch have been offered 12 Lacs each in Honda while 6 to 7 were placed for 6 to 7 Lacs each. For a mechanical engineer, that is not a bad starting prospect. For CSE, 12 students were selected in Amazon with 1 or 2 getting 12 Lacs per annum. Cognizant took nearly 200 students in a single drive. If rumors are to be believed, Volkswagen will be coming this year. The lowest package offered was around 2 Lacs with an average of 5 to 6 Lacs. CSE, ECE and MBA are good to land a decent job.

The institutions which you have mentioned are doing good in academics but LPU is out performing in placement. LPU keeps improving and increasing it placements packages year on year. Even the number of recruiters visiting the campus increase every year. It provides plethora of opportunity to the students. Likewise, skill development programme, professional enhancement classes, learning workshops or sessions, extensive cultural events and exemplary placement opportunity. They offer the chances of live projects for the practical learning of the students. Impeccable placement records with more than 150 companies including ITC, Asian Paints, HDFC, Federal Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global etc. And so on recruiting MBA students on an yearly basis with the highest package in MBA at 21 Lacs Per Annum and on a average package will be 4LPA TO 6 LPA with nearly 90 % placement rates.
