If your budget allows you to buy SSD, then it's okay to buy it, because it is very faster like 10 times than conventional HDD and also very expensive. No graphics aren't necessary for a CSE student.

Hi, It all depends on your budget. SSD is expensive and better as compared to HDD. So, it's your choice which one you want to buy. Graphics is not necessary. Thanks.

Dear Anamika, SSD laptop is good for CSE students. You just make sure your budget. And yes, graphic is not necessary for CSE as it is not an important part of CSE students. Coming to the CSE at LPU. LPU has many labs as well where students can go and use them for their practicals. But I recommend you purchase your own keep data with you all the time as you cannot come anytime to the labs for practical. You can use them only during working hours. I hope this helps
    Thanks!

Hi. SSDs are faster than HDDs. SSDs use less energy than HDDs. SSDs have no moving parts, unlike HDDs, so motor and head/solenoid failures are not an issue. SSDs are silent, while HDDs generate some noise from the motor and head mechanisms.

The difference between hard drives and solid-state drives is in the technology used to store and retrieve data. HDDs are cheaper and you can get more storage space. SSDs, however, are faster, lighter, more durable, and use less energy. Your needs will dictate which storage drive will work best for you. About the graphics, it depends on the student. If one student want to learn/ programme something like image processing, Artificial Intelligence, Neural networks and Deep learning having a graphic card for these is mandatory. As per the CSE course perspective, graphics as such is not required.

CSE students benefit from SSD laptops. Simply check your finances. And indeed, as graphics are not a significant component of CSE students, they are not required for CSE. Arriving at the LPU CSE. Additionally, LPU offers a large number of labs that students can visit to use for their practical exams. But since you can't always visit the labs for practicals, I advise you to get your own data to carry around with you. They are only usable during business hours. Hope this is helpful.

Solid state drives cost more than hard disk drives. Basically, laptops that have HDDs are much more affordable than SSDs. Also, the same model laptop but with a 1 TB HDD is going to cost the same if it has a 256 GB SSD. In short, SSDs are better performance than HDDs. So, you can prefer a SSD laptop for your use during your studies.

It depends on your choice, but SSD laptop will be best. The inbuilt graphics is sufficient for CSE no need of any graphics. Thanks.
