IIIT Guwahati is a safer choice considering that they have the support of IIT guwahati and previous IITG director is now their professor and director, which is a huge boost. Also they have an IT park coming around their campus so placements will not be an issue. I believe that their facuty is also much better.

    Hi,
    1)
While selecting an institute, please keep in mind to check certain parameters such as :
    - Recognition (UGC/AICTE)
    - Success Rate
    - How old the institute is
    - Course details
    - Faculty
    - Infrastructure
    - Alumni/Student Feedback
    - Fees
    2)
For placements, the institutes provide assistance to successfully pass out students. No institute can guarantee you as it entirely depends on your capabilities, utilization of skills, presence of mind, communication skills, etc.
You may directly contact the institute's placement cell / current students and get feedback before joining.
    All the best!

Iiit kota has just 14 seat in open category and its classes are conducted in mnit jaipur but classes are taken by mnit japur faculty only so if you like it go for it.
    Otherwise iiit guwahati is there.

Its difficult to compare between equals, but before choosing an institute, check out the number of years of service, alumni and faculty profile and infrastructure and facilities. Approval and accreditation by competent authorities is a positive sign. Please try to get in touch with their alumni for enquiry about the facilities. If possible, pay a personal visit to these institutions before you choose.
