Hi, When it comes to engineering, no one can beat LPU in terms of education, placements, etc. I can give you the insight of this university.
1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities are excellent as IITs, NITs.
2) In LPU, due to tie-ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE, etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals at the beginning of every semester.
3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills, etc. Are part of the curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subj

Every branch is good provided you have a strong interest in that. I will brief you both and its prospects then you can decide as per your orientation. I interacted with the faculty of LPU who told that Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is a major branch of engineering at LPU which has been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. Developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students is an important focus area throughout the duration of the programme. Students are exposed too the fields like
a. Cloud computing
b. IoT
c. Data Science
e. Machine Learning
f. Big Data and many more

Hello,As per my experience LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. Abhinit, both the branches are equally good. LPU has good placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies.
Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. Please check the link below:
