Which one is better....Mainframe production support or development?

I feel that production support should be a better option, as most of the development work is already done in Mainframes. As most of the Banks and Financial institutions are still using Mainframe servers, there is lot of scope left in production support.

i think it would be a better choice as it sector employs 80% of the btech graduates.and is the fastest growing sector in india
