Which one is better MBA in IT or MCA? I have completed B.Sc in IT.

    It depends on your interest level.
    If you like developing App, or you like managing things, then both MBA-IT and MCA has management + technologies, but MCA covers deep programming and covers vast concepts from basics. If you compare academics tenure, then MBA degree will be in your hands in 2 years, while MCA is 3 year course.
  • Hi Vishesh, It depends upon your interest otherwise both the courses are good.
    After MBA, Students can attain positions as IT Manager, Team Leader, Project Officer and Manager in IT companies. Entrepreneurship ventures such as consultancy firms can be opened. Career in teaching and research in reputed educational institutions can be explored.
    After MCA, students can attain various professional positions as Developers, Design Engineers, Data Base Administrator, Network Administrator, Data Analyst in leading IT companies like Cognizant, Accenture, HCL , Wipro Technologies, TCS, LG Soft, Tech Mahindra and Infosys.     Both are equally good.
    But, doing an MBA with IT will give you an upper hand, as you will get to learn something more and that will help you to get a better job, and also help to survive at work place.
    So, better do MBA with IT as first specialization and 2nd specialization as Analytics.
