Definitely it's CS in VIT Vellore is better than mechanical in LNMIIT Jaipur. As the average package of CS in ViT Vellore is about 10lakhs and the highest package last year was 1.02 crores, two students got this. Companies like Microsoft, JP morgan generally take the students from the CS branch.
