Which one is better, mechanical engineering or automobile engineering??

Mechanical Engineering is much better than automobile engineering. as after Doing mechanical engnieering you can make your career in Auto industry , manufacturing industry , tool Industry , production Industry PSUs. and lots more. and after Automobile Engineering you are Restricted only one sector

You should go for mechanical engineering as you can move to automobile field anytime afterwards if you wish but reverse will not be possible. So, instead of restricting yourself towards a specialised field like automobile, it is always better to join open ended field like Mechanical from where caree

Automobile engineering is better than mechanical engineering because in mechanical engineering you can not specialise in one field but in automobile engineering, you specialise in the automobile sector. You can specialise in automobile engine or automobile technology.
