    Both NIT Durgapur and IIEST Shibpur offer great placements to students. Both are ranked by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) and offer scholarships to students. Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur is better in some areas whereas NIT Durgapur is better in others. So the students must decide what they are actually looking for in a particular college or university and then make the comparison accordingly.
