Which one is better: other graduation+MBA or BBA+MBA?

B.Tech + MBA is probably the best. BBA prior to MBA will help you know the basics of management studies.

Both have their own advantages. BBA before MBA: An undergrad degree in Commerce or Economics certainly gives you an edge over your Engineering counterparts when you begin your MBA journey. You will have a basic idea of most of the subjects taught in MBA, like accounting giving you a head-start. There will be more context to your education, and you also might get a preference during the shortlisting process of B-schools. As far as placements are concerned, you can get an advantage with a BBA, only if the company is looking for diversity (Most Schools in India have over 75% engineers in their class). B.Tech before MBA: Commerce students might have a head start, but engineers pick up things really fast, and don't lag much behind the BBA counterparts after a couple of months. In terms of placements, engineers are preferred in quant-heavy roles in Finance and Operations involving number crunching since engineers are presumed to be strong with their analytical abilities. Also, B.Tech provides better kind of offers due to wider scope. The engineering students may venture to HR and softer areas. However, the BBA students may not be able to venture to production and operations areas.
