    Though both the universities are good in academics but being an alumni let me share the details of LPU. The placement highlights are:-
    Even during this unprecedented time of COVID almost 7200+ offers were generated and still there is more to come. There are around 1000+virtual placement events that are conducted so far. Around 285+ companies offered dream CTC of 5 Lac per annum to 10 Lac per annum
    62+ companies offered super dream CTC of 10 LPA and above. LPU students have secured offers from Amazon at a dream package of up to Rs. 30 Lac per annum. Other students pursuing internships with Amazon, may be extended full-time positions again

    Hello, No one can beat LPU in terms of placements, exposure, academics. LPU not only focuses on academics but also on the overall development of the student. Coming to academics, LPU has maintained a great academic record over the years. The workshops and guest lectures that happen every now and then benefit the students.     LPU provides an excellent opportunities to all the students. Lovely Professional University is one of the largest support providers in students placements in Northern India. Placements in LPU are administered by a team called Division of Career Services and this team helps the students in obtaining relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge.     As per the website of Thapar university, it has got 282 companies visiting the campus and with 994 offers. Compare it to LPU : it attracts more than 300 companies only for its CSE !
    With 800 companies in total out of which more than 80 offer above 10LPA, 100 are from fortune 500 and more than 100 which come to LPU only other than IITs & Iims !
    Moreover LPU places over 6 K students every year which in itself is a great FEAT. So LPU has a higher bandwidth with regards to placements than Thapar. DVD.
