    Hi Dear,
Both of these are most important exams for every graduate students. It totally depends on you, if you are weak in Technical subjects, then GATE may be difficult for you, and if you are weak in Aptitude, then CAT may be difficult for you. I have given both the exams, according to me I will say that CAT is more difficult than GATE. Because, GATE has its specific portion of technical subjects that are not there in CAT you can't even think what would be there in CAT Exam.

It's this a serious question? I don't think that it is wise to shape your entire future on which entrance exam is easier. In terms of syllabus, the CAT comprises basic English, Maths (X level) and Analytical Reasoning. The GATE syllabus is more extensive, as it covers the complete engineering syllabus plus the CAT syllabus. Competition in the GATE will be at least 4 to 5 times that of the CAT because it is now also used as the single point of entry for PSU jobs. However, a good score in the GATE (99th percentile) more or less guarantees an M.Tech / ME admission, or a job with a Maharatna PSU. There are many MBA aspirants in the 99.9th

Both have their own difficulty levels. CAT is based on strong grounds of Mathematics, English and analytical skills while GATE is based on in depth knowledge of engineering subjects. While CAT is a gateway to MBA, GATE is for M.Tech.

Both are almost different. CAT exam for admission in Business school and syllabus is LR, DI and others. GATE Exam for admission in M .Tech or PSU Jobs. GATE syllabus is totally different from different branches. Syllabus is subject wise and GK. Cannot judge difficulty level between them.

Though this score helps the candidates qualify for the shortlisting stage, FLAME follows a holistic selection process; hence, the final admission also depends on academic records, interviews, and overall profile strength.
