I m pursuing my BSc final year.. I m confused to go either for food and nutrition or clinical research courses..which one has good opportunites..

Hi Rosely,I m really interested for my sis to join the food and nutrition course but I need to know one thing that what is the career path after pass out the graduation and is any institution is offered any campus drive in final year?my sis is now in 12th std and r8 now she dont know which is the best career path for her and as a elder bro I need to think those.So please help me to inform me as well.

Dear Sruthi, mode of education is absolutely your interest. I would suggest, if you plan to do in distance mode get yourself associated for internship program as it would give you an hands-on practice. Food and nutrition courses are available in variety such as degree as well as diploma. For clinical research you may qualify in the online competitive examination.
Both the courses are professional field, my advice to you would be have a sufficient hands-on practice before you start working.

Hi Sruthi, both the options you have shortlisted are respectable profession.
Food and nutrition will give you opportunities to work with multi-specialty hospitals as a Nutritionist or you may also practice individually as Nutristionist or tie up with health care industry.
In the field of Clinical research, you may work with clinical research organizations (CRO) such as Quintiles, Covance, Siro, etc or the Pharmaceutical MNCs.
Both the fields are highly respectable and high in demand. Choose as per your interest .
