Choosing a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. Both the universities are doing equally good but here I would prefer LPU. There are several reasons for the same. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. If I talk about the placements, the preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Dear Menu, I haven't any idea about the HBTI institute for the B.Tech in CSE programme but being alumni of LPU, I can provide you with the details of this programme completely, Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world.
