LPU is really a great platform to pursue your studies. I am an Alumni of the LPU batch 2013 and I had great experience in LPU. I was in confusion when I was seeking admission for my post graduation but after long comparisons of colleges I choose LPU because LPU gave me an extra edge in all perspectives. Great Academics, beautiful Infrastructure, Experienced Facilities and in campus placement. In LPU MBA programme comes Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation. Last year in MBA students got a package of max 16 Lacs per annum and the average packages were of 5 Lacs per annum. Kindly visit at least once at LPu campus.

Dear Sanyam, Both are doing pretty well in this branch which is highly sought after and has maximum opportunities. But change is the only constant in computer engineering! LPU has adjusted dynamically to the continuous updates and changes in the industry. I would suggest you compare the following parameters: Curriculum: If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since it is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a program that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy: The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the program is delivered, more practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well-rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc are a must for any professional to succeed in their career. Industry interface: Ultimately it's the industry that is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits, and internships are a must-have in any tech program. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc are given high importance in the organizations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As the world shrinks into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross-cultural teams having entirely different work cultures and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students to develop the right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship: Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. Placements: The program is only means to the end ! And desired end of such course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has solid a track record of placements or not. I'll suggest you opt for LPU as this is the best college of Punjab and also this college is the best known for CSE branch as this college has the best in class faculty, labs and placements.
