IIT is related to the engineering field, whereas IIMS is related to the medical field. IIT and AIIMS are both held on an annual basis, and with limited seats, passing these exams becomes more difficult for students. If you look at the stats, AIIMS is harder to get into since more number of students appear for NEET than for IIT JEE. However if you look at the difficulty of the exams, IIT is harder to get into as it has two phases, and the paper is a bit tougher than NEET.
