Training : large number of training like SAP and MOOCs are available to students free of cost. Teaching pedagogy : Each student has a mentor in a faculty member who come in handy in times of deadlines, challenging projects, advisory roles. Hackathons and internal competitions: large number of internal competitions keep on happening throughout the year for up skilling the students. Entrepreneurship: LPU campus is a hotbed of budding entrepreneurs, a large ecosystem with 30000 plus people within a walled community makes an ideal one. In addition to ecosystem the incubator, innovation labs, design thinking labs and finally the SEED capital facility for great ideas makes LPU a unique system in itself. HI dear, The choice lies with you only. Both are equally good, rather now a days private universities are putting more efforts than some of the NIT's or even young IIT's. For NIT one has to crank JEE Mains where as for LPU one can crack LPU NEST. I am not saying that LPU NEST is easier than JEE Mains or difficult. Here I just want to tell you about the value addition, Where it might be possible that LPU is putting more efforts to make Industry ready product. First of all the difference is in the specializations. LPU offers large number of industry specific specializations, highly coveted Computer Science Engineering along with the function specific ones, while you can easily count the total number of classes in NIT's. Course curriculum : While NIT's are carrying legacy only in regards Curriculum, LPU has developed and upgraded its curriculum continuously with feedback and consultations with Industry tycoons.
