Which one should I choose among B.Sc biotech and B.Sc chemistry? Which one is having more scope?

    Hi,
    Both these field have a very wide career, but it totally depends on your interest, just choose according to your choice. But there are vast employment opportunities for the students of biochemistry as they can be absorbed in a number of research institutions and the students of biochemistry can work as scientists, research officers, research associates, chemical examiners.

    Any applied science brings faster placement than a pure science. So, go in for Bio-Technology.

    If you are in India then biotech does not have much scope. You need to become excellent in this field in order to get a field job in biotech as labs are less in India. If you desire to go in teaching field after M.Sc. then it is fine to do it in biotechnology or chemistry. So, I would suggest chemistry if you are doing it from India. If you are planning for abroad then you can opt biotech.
