You can prefer LPU over Manav Rachna as Lovely Professional University is a good university which is gaining more and more reputation these days. It is a good choice for engineering and they offer better education and best placements.

I have never visited any place but yes I have heard about both universities are doing good. But addressing your query specifically regarding placements, I overheard alot about LPU.
