Dear Davinder, Both Manav Rachna and LPU are better institutions. But I always suggest LPU for higher education based on the following points: LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes me feel like I'm in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. Ranking: 1. LPU is much better than any other University. Hi, There is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time ! LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment an software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent ! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and network to produce any title anytime ! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum, to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment's, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say that it is a Lovely Professional University which every students are looking for. Be it studies, hangout places, infrastructure or extracurricular activities, this university has it all. LPU makes leaders who are not only thorough professionals but also good human beings with values. This is just one of the many reasons why it is consistently ranked no.1. My experience at LPU has been phenomenal. They have good faculty and good infrastructure. They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with the latest developments. Overall culture in the university seems to be good. The diversity of students from different cultures and different countries offers a good learning B.Ed to learn and develop a more inclusive mindset. This mindset helps in being more accommodating and less judgmental in personal and professional life. Scholarship programs up to 100% for brilliant scholars-LPU provides scholarships to sports personnel, wards of Defence personnel like ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE etc. Apart from that LPU conducts LPU NEST where student can score good and can grab 50% scholarship. LPU was my home for 5 long years and made me realize my inner self and pushed me towards doing better and better day by day. The university campus is spread over 900+ acres with a separate block for each department, 9 Story Central Library, Mac labs, aviation lab, chemistry laboratory, auditorium, open-air theater, hostels, hospital, laundry, parking facility, cricket ground, boxing ring, Taekwondo, football field, snooker lounge, Roller skating ring, in-house bowling complex, fitness edge Gym, Cafe Coffee Day, university mall, convenience stores, easy banking, food kiosks, Food Cafe and Hostel Dining Hall. Talking about the faculty members, Most of the staff is Ph.D. and many are even from IIT, NIT or Iims, with enough experience as well. At LPU they are not just Professors but mentors to students and guide you well throughout. Complete practical learning module and hands on experience in every field. One of the most important entities of any university, classes and the design of curriculum is very efficient at LPU. Hi Davinder, I am from LPU. So I want to talk only about LPU. LPU is very well known for it's academic standards. LPU follows dynamic curriculum. All the students and faculty members are very much friendly. LPU helps students to have all round development. LPU allows students to attend workshops without having the fear of losing attendance. LPU also provides platform for students to showcase their skills in front of many MNC's. Last year the highest package is 42LPA offered by microsoft.
