    Hello,
An MBA degree offers more technical and business related knowledge, whereas a PGDM offers a more practical approach. Both are equally good; what matters more is from which college you are pursuing them. For example, a PGDM from SP Jain or MDI Gurgaon is any day more valuable than an MBA from an average college.

If you want to go for higher studies like for Ph.D, then go for MBA (master in management studies), as it will give you Master's degree, and if you want to learn management studies in both practical and theoretical way then go for PGDM (post graduate Diploma in management). For placement scenario both are considered equivalent. All the best.

PGDM expands as Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and it is not a degree. PGDM is offered by any autonomous body, which is not affiliated to any university. As a result, such institutes are not allowed to provide MBA degree. However, these programs are approved by AICTE.

    Hi!
Well, one must understand that there are Business Schools which are good for MBA and there are Business Schools which are good for PGDM also. It's not appropriate to decide which course is better. A student must decide only the Business School.
