Which one should I prefer for a course in Humanities: H.K. Arts College - Ahmedabad or St. Xavier's College - Ahmedabad and why?

St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad or Xavier’s, Ahmedabad is a higher education institute located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It was established in 1955, in what could be described as a daring act: there were no funds and no trained teachers available. However, they steadied the ship and overcame the odds. By 1959, the college owned a campus of 25 acres. The college today offers close to 15 undergraduate courses. The college is known for excellence in Science and Humanities studies. Admission into the college is based on the marks scored in 10+2 and a personal interview with the principal and/or his delegates. H K Arts College is situated in Ahmedabad in Gujarat state of India. Established in 1860, it is accredited from AICTE and it is affiliated to Gujarat University. HKAC, Ahmedabad offers 16 courses across 3 streams namely arts, law / humanities, IT and across 2 degrees like BA and MA. Hostel facility is not available for its students. St. Xavier’s College is better then H K Arts College.

Hi, St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad is definitely better in terms of academics and co-curricular activities. Xavier's, Ahmedabad offers you various phases of college life, which includes various fests, various programs and a better syllabus when it comes to academics. More than that, the area surrounding this college will teach so many things, which is just not possible with H K Arts College (I live in Ahmedabad, so I am telling you my first-hand experience). Apart from this, the faculty for biological sciences is too good in Xavier's, Ahmedabad. All the best.
