Which one should I prefer for a course in Humanities: Maharaja Agrasen College or Delhi College of Arts & Commerce (DCAC) and why?

I would prefer you Maharaja Agrasen College (affiliated to University of Delhi) over DCAC, if you want to make a career in Arts & Humanities. The reason why I am voting for Agrasen College is it’s Infrastructure is very huge, with fully Wi-Fi equipped for E-learning. Faculty members: Most of the faculty members here have a doctorate degree in their respective field which makes them specialize and expert.

Go to Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) or Maharaja Agrasen College. They both are equally good. In fact, I have heard that DCACs crowd is very good. Make it your 1st option if not very fond of an all-girls college. Maharaja Agrasen College could be your second option then.

Faculties: Most of the faculty members here have a doctorate degree in their respective field which makes them specialise and expert. Arts & Humanities Club; They have many clubs & societies which are specially designed for Arts and Humanities students, in which they conduct intra-college debate, street act, and other arts centric activities. Hence, apart from mentioned reason, Maharaja Agrasen College is top on the list because this college is specialized in this course. Hence, I suggest you take admission here for BA and MA programs. Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) - It is a great college away from the South campus but the crowd was awesome and the fest is one you can't miss in DCAC. For me, it is one of the best colleges in terms of the crowd though college won’t look that attractive. Maharaja Agrasen- The location and the infrastructure of this college is not up to the mark. It won't give you Delhi University’s feels. The average cut-off for other courses is less for Maharaja Agrasen than all the above-mentioned colleges so the crowd won't be that competitive. Go to Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) or Maharaja Agrasen College. They both are equally good. In fact, I have heard that DCACs crowd is very good. Make it your 1st option if not very fond of an all-girls college. Maharaja Agrasen College could be your second option then.

Hi, Definitely, DCAC has an edge over Maharaja Agrasen College for courses in humanities. It has other benefits than MAC. Here are some of them: DCAC is one of the premier institutions of Delhi University. Location: Located in Netaji Nagar, it is a 100 meters walk from Leela Palace Hotel. Hence, it is located in the heart of Delhi with an easy access to the most popular student hubs including Satya Niketan and Connaught Place. No Doubt, it is one of the coolest colleges of South Campus. Connectivity and accommodation: Closest metro station is INA which falls on the yellow line and auto fares are inexpensive. DTC buses are available from the college at a walk of one kilometer. Paying guest accommodations are available are fare rates at a distance of 3 kms from college is areas like Satya Niketan and Anand Niketan. Student Crowd: DCAC has a decent crowd with majority of them belonging to Delhi-NCR region. Unlike the off campus colleges, you will never witness any group fight on campus. Students are sensible and helpful in nature. It is an anti-ragging campus which has lived up to its tag! Faculty: It has one of the finest faculties in DU as all of the professors have a reputed alma mater. They are friendly and have an excellent way of teaching. Courses and Placements: The college offers seven courses in fields of Arts and Commerce along with Journalism. These include English (H), Economics (H), History (H), Political Science (H), B.Com (H), B.Com Programme, BA Programme and Journalism (H). Broadway is the placement cell of DCAC which helps in recruitment of final year students. If one scores good marks and has a decent record, they do get placed with reputed for a like HCL, E&Y only to name a few. So, you can surely go for it.
