Which one should I prefer for a course in Humanities: Ramnarain Ruia College or SIES College of Arts Science & Commerce and why?

SIES College of Arts Science & Commerce The college is good. Campus wise, it is good but the science and commerce college in SION (different ones) have a better name. More prestigious than the Nerul one. SIES Nerul is a private college with higher fees whereas the SION ones are under Mumbai University and exams are governed by MU too. Do check other reviews and the sites! Ramnarain Ruia College Why join? Ramnarain Ruia College is located in the central part of Mumbai close to Hindu Colony, between the Dadar and Matunga railway station adjacent to Podar College. It offers around 35 undergraduate courses. The college was established in 1937 and was the first college in Mumbai to be started by the Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali, Pune. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Selection for admission into the college is according to university norms. It's an amazing college for science stream it has a NAAC accreditation A+. As far as arts stream is concerned, it stands second. Teaching staff is amazing. Ruia's quadrangle is always lively. Vidyarthi Pratinidhi Mandal (VPM) is the official student's council association and rotaract club of Ruia is very active regarding different activities. It is the best for a course in humanities.

Hello, Ramnarain Ruia college was established way back in 1937 in Dadar, Mumbai. This college has a distinctly family atmosphere and a Maharashtrian touch. A large number of celebrities like Ajit Wadekar, Justice Tipnis and many more are its alumni. This college has indeed a great reputation for an excellent center of learning. On the other hand, SIES is very young college of just about 30 years old. This college was established to offer education to the South Indian community and is located in Sion, Mumbai. This college has earned a name for itself within such a short span of time. Encouraging sports and adventure activities is the forte of this institution. To compare, I would say that SIES is the new horse in the race while Ruia is an old wine. Ruia is still continuing to hold sway for its academics while SIES is almost catching up.
