7 years agoDepartment of Hotel Management, Christ University was set up in 1991. The official website informs that: The Department of Hotel Management has 11 full-time faculties, with relevant industry and teaching experience, the department has also put forth a Diploma course in wine studies which is the first of the kind in the country. Candidates are eligible to apply for admission in hotel management programmes on offer at Christ University if they have cleared the Karnataka PUC examination or its equivalent (ISC / CBSE / Others) (10+2) exam in any discipline.

Established in 1964 as Christ College, due to its excellence in faculty and innovativeness, UGC conferred on it seemed to be university status in the year 2008. It has achieved excellence in all areas and Haas obtained grade A in rating by NAAC. It's department of Hotel Management started in 1998 itself and today has grown quite big with quite a name for itself.
