Which one should I prefer for an LL.B: Hooghly Mohsin College or VIT University, Chennai and why?

Please share the details on basis of placements, faculty and infrastructure.

    Hi there,
    Well, the choice between these two colleges is not difficult as per me as both of them are not much known for law as such though are good institutes. However, VIT University, Chennai is much preferred for B.Tech courses and also, it has better infrastructure, faculties and placements.
    Now, if you were to choose between these two, then on the basis of faculties, infrastructure and the placements, VIT would be a good choice.
    They have some very good recruiters for other fields of education which makes it likely to have good placement for law as well.
    Also, the infrastructure is amazing which certainly helps you throughout your year

    Hi,
    Both the colleges are equally good however on some parameters one is better than the others. I would suggest you prefer VIT University over Hooghly Mohsin College. The latter is affiliated to very reputed university I.e. the University of Burdwan. The admission to the college is based on admission test. The university has a great academic record and conducts extracurricular activities for students regularly. These activities include moot courts, parliamentary debates among others.

    Hi,
    Both the law colleges are the very good. They run on a parallel footing.
    Hooghly Mohsin Law College was set up in 1978 with affiliation from the University of Burdwan, one of the reputed universities of the country. Students here are admitted strictly on the basis of admission test.
    Mock Parliament and Court sessions are conducted to help develop student's personality. It has a very well organized law library with reading room facilities.
