Hello reader, i have been working in animation world since last year and most of my friends are either studying in ARENA or in MAAC. i gathered each and every information i received from them.
SYLLABUS - Actually, both of the institutes are run by a global training company called Aptech limited. Both institutes have almost same syllabus, but MAAC have a plus point of updated course and software they teach. Hi I am Anil from AVG industry and works for Makuta and done work for famous films like Bahubali. Institute will give you knowledge of all the softwares but practical things will be done in only in job. If you have job experience in good production and Company ou can survie in Animation Industry. Arena gave me best oppurtuity in Prime focus as inyter it was my startup then I never saw back. I really appreciate Arena Animation.

I will personally recommend you to choose ARENA over MAAC for animation.
