Which one should I prefer for B.Arch, Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture or PDA College of Engineering and why?

    Apart from Chitkara & PDA, Indo Global College of Architecture is another good option. It is very beautiful, good infrastructure, Well qualified & experienced faculty (50 N0s), which is not available in these both campuses. I advise you to visit Indo Global College of Architecture.

    My advise will go for Chitkara University as it is much well-known and a reputed university as compared to PDA College of Engineering. Chitkara has earned a lot in the field of architecture in the recent years. This university is in collaboration with many companies and organizations to ensure successful and better placements for students.Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and offers 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) which is recognised by Council of Architecture (COA).   • Chitkara University established the Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture (CSPA) in the year 2004. It is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and offers 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) which is recognised by Council of Architecture (COA).

Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture which is a part of Chitkara university does not provide scholarships to their student. But they helps in finding scholarships to you according to your financial conditions. We all know that the central government and the state government provide scholarships to financially weaker sections. Some scholarships for under graduate students are Central Sector Scholarship scheme (An annual scholarship amount of INR 10,000 for 1st three years of graduation) and AICTE Pragati Scholarship (This scholarship is for students who are studying at Diploma and undergraduate levels) etc.

Bachelor of architecture (B.Arch) is a 5 years course. So, it has total 10 semesters ( 2 semesters per year). For the first two semesters, fee is INR 1 Lakh per semester. For remaining semesters, fee is INR 80000 per semester. So, fees for B.Arch at Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture is INR 8.6 lakhs.

Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture offers a 4 year B.Des. in Interior Design course at the UG level. For the B.Des. in Interior Design course, there will be only 120 seats available per year at Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture.

First of all, to get admission into Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture for B.Des, you need two things. Firstly, you have to pass in XII (Any stream). Secondly, a valid UCEED scores for admission to the B.Des course. Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is a test centre-based examination of 3 hours duration for admission to Bachelor of Design (B. Des.). Cut-off for this exam is around 80 marks.
