Which one should I prefer for B.Arch, Lovely Professional University or Trinity College of Architecture and why?

LPU will be a better option for B.Arch. LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes. LPU has a beautiful campus with a great infrastructure with all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation and still working for more. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, LPU will be an university I will suggest from where you can pursue your higher studies.

Both the institutes are a private institute and are working splendidly in their own areas. Trinity College of Architecture, KJ's Institute, Pune is beautiful campus on the foots of the mountains. I visited their once, their infrastructure and beauty around will restrict to leave that place. Eligibility Criteria of Trinity college of Architecture is: The Candidate should have passed the HSC (10+2 level) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its Equivalent Examination with subject Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories. In comparison, LPU is also consider as one of most superior school of Architecture. Being an Education Consultant I got a chance to visit there at LPU also. What a wonderful infrastructure and highly qualified faculty they have. If you take my opinion, to take admission in LPU is little difficult as compare to Trinity College of Architecture. For satisfying the Eligibility criteria of B.Arch in LPU, either candidate must be NATA qualified having average score of 80 minimum or JEE Main paper II must be qualified along with this Candidate musthave minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th grade with English must be studied as a subject and a candidate should also have 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Thus, if I am not wrong, it is little difficult getting Admission in INDIA"s one of the premier School of Architecture at LPU. Though, there is a 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants. You have 58% marks in 12th. So, If you belong to any of these categories then you will get relaxation of 5% aggregate marks. Programme Outcome is: Comprehend design approach and inter-relationship of function, circulation, structure, material and construction, climatology, services, form, aesthetics and apply the knowledge in built environment, Interpret the facet of architectural design and urban realm context through schematic drawings, project report, physical model and 3 D visualizations, Analyze and appraise. Hi There are three conditions in eligibility file for B.Arch. , 60% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry &amp; Mathematics, and also 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry &amp; Mathematics, and NATA 2020/JEE Main (Paper-II) or State Level Test (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2020-21). LPU is the only university which offers 3D printing and Laser cutting techniques for the students. Internships start from 9th semester. Placement coordinator assists in placements. No other university helps in the placements as LPU does. LPU has Council of Architecture (C. O. A) approved curriculum with emphasis on designing and software skills Scholarships are also available on the basis of LPU NEST score, NATA/JEE Score, performance in extra-curricular etc. In addition to this, LPU has a good brand name, excellent placements and rankings. It puts special emphasis on practical exposure. For this purpose, it also has collaborations with universities and top-notch companies. Best would be to browse websites of the mentioned colleges for a comparative analysis.
