Which one should I prefer for M.Des: MIT Institute of Design, MIT Art, Design and Technology University or Amity University, Mumbai and why?

    Go for UID I. e. Unitedworld Institute of Design. They are the best in the country because of the following reasons. Amazing Infrastructure, Quality Faculty resources and a number of quality design workshops with modern tools and amenities. UID is an important wing of the reputed Karnavati University at Gandhinagar Gujarat the University has collaboration with reputed foreign universities like The Monfort University, Coventry University, University of the creative Arts, University of Derby, Polimoda, Istituto Marangoni etc. So close your eyes and go for UID as your ultimate choice for M.Des.

    In my view point UID that is Unitedworld Institute of Design. They are the one of the best in the country because they have huge Infrastructure, excellent Faculty and the number of design workshops they have with modern tools and facility. Unitedworld Institute Of Design is a part of Karnavati University at Gandhinagar Gujarat and the University has tie-up with foreign universities like The University of the creative Arts, University of Derby, Monfort University, Coventry University etc. So in my view point you should go for UID as it will be the best chose for M.Des.
  • All the above mentioned colleges are good but I want to share my experience with you, when I did a survey on the design colleges for my cousin brother's Masters in design, I was shortlisted few well-known design colleges of India, but finally I selected UID for him. I selected that college for few reason and I strongly believe if anybody wants to select his or her University for the higher education, they supposed to follow those points, like the location of the campus, the training process, the faculty members and very importantly the placement background and when I visited the campus of UID which is located at Ahmedabad I really got

    Amity University Mumbai would be a better option as it is UGC recognised and has state of the art campus they conduct many industry leaders lectures and also industry visits. Amity has a good widespread network in designing industry subjects like Green Technology And Sustainable Fashion, Pattern Making and Apparel Construction Techniques, Textile Testing & Quality Assurance are emerging in this era are included in the programme.

    Both the colleges are good but, when we compare these colleges for M.Des MIT Institute of Design will be a better option to go for. Amity University, Mumbai is comparatively new to the industry for designing and on the other hand MIT Institute of Design is a well reputed name. Placements offered at MIT for M.Des is remarkable with better salary packages. They are successfully placing their 60-70% (approximately) students every year. It's still a huge turnover as far as design placements are concerned at other colleges. I will not provide any biased opinion, it's all research and experience based.
